The Gnostic Centre offers beautiful Meditation spaces, both indoor and outdoors. The entire campus of The Gnostic Centre has been designed to facilitate an inwardisation of consciousness, a connect with one’s inner being, a poise of silence and a connect with Nature. There are also a few specific spaces designated for Meditation.
The Shrine at the Delhi campus houses Sri Aurobindo’s sacred relics. The relics were enshrined in 2007.
The Shrine chamber is a place for total silence (cell phones off, no music or talking). The structure and interiors of the building resemble those of the tortoise drawing its legs inside and becoming totally still. It helps you go within in silence.
Timings: All days, 8am to 8pm
A beautiful space, at the Delhi campus, with lovely views of the Gardens around, it naturally draws you inwards. One may inwardise with or without music here.
The Meditation Hall also houses the Centre’s Library. A membership to the Library is preferred for those wishing to make use of it regularly.
